My heart wants something-

though I am not sure what it wants

How do I impart the beauty of a rose

to the blind

the melody of a song

to the deaf

the taste of sweet honey

to the one who has never tasted

Such is love

love drove me to my knees

in worship

my heart broken open

love consumed me

all my senses heightened

this is to know love

this love was a part of me

since the beginning of time

only asleep and forgotten

now

awake inside me forever

is the love that I am and

always was
